How To Use

    Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo:

    Begin by applying Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo to wet hair. Gently massage and work into a rich lather, then rinse.
    Designed to achieve optimal lightening when used with Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray.

    Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner:

    Follow with Go Blonder Conditioner. Massage throughout hair, from root to tip, then rinse thoroughly. Towel dry. Style as usual.

    Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray:

    After conditioning, spray lightening spray thoroughly on towel-dried hair, then style as desired. For optimal lightening, use a flat iron or curling iron after blow-drying. Only use once between hair washings. Use only on clean, wet hair. Use no more than 10 times between colourings.

How do I know which Go Blonder product is right for me?

Go Blonder is ideally suited for natural blondes who want to look lighter all over. The products were designed for natural blondes and are most effective on fine to medium hair types, both in speed and visibility of the lightening results. The Conditioner provides a temporary shifting of appearance (temporary lightening appearance). The Shampoo provides a slightly durable yet temporary appearance shift (a couple of days of temporary lightening appearance). The Lightening Spray provides a permanent appearance shift (permanent lightening/removal of melanin).

How do these products differ from John Frieda Highlight Activating products?

Go Blonder is for natural blondes who want to look lighter all over. Highlight Activating is designed for blondes (natural or color-treated) who use chemical treatments (bleaching) and want to brighten their hair because the chemically damaged portions of the hair have worn and look dull and lifeless.

What hair types/textures are each of these products suitable for?

The Go Blonder range was designed for natural blondes and is appropriate for most hair types/textures typical of natural blonde hair. As with anything that needs to penetrate the hair strand, the thicker the hair texture, the more time it will take to see the results.

My hair resembles more of a brunette/brown shade. Can I use this product?

If your hair is light brown or dark blonde, you may use this product. If your hair is medium or dark brown, it is not recommended. This product is designed to work best on lighter shades of hair. If you have dark hair, your hair contains more pigment, and there is a greater chance of brassy or orange results. Therefore, as mentioned on the package, it is not recommended for medium brown or darker shades of hair.

How does Go Blonder provide “natural-looking, lighter” results?

The Go Blonder products are designed and developed to give consumers results that represent a natural, sun-kissed blonde appearance.

What other products can I use with the Go Blonder products?

Go Blonder Shampoo, Conditioner, and Lightening Spray can be used with any John Frieda styling product. However, to get the most beneficial experience, it is recommended that they are used together as a system if possible.

Will Go Blonder permanently change my hair color?

No, the Go Blonder products will not permanently change the color of your hair. They provide temporary lightening to the hair. If usage is discontinued, hair appearance will return to normal.

Can I use the Go Blonder products every day?

The Shampoo and Conditioner products are formulated for to be used as often as desired. However, the Spray should only be used once between hair washings only on clean, wet hair, and used no more than 10 times between colorings.
